This is the final episode of Season 1 of Restart Your Life.

And this episode is different.

After eleven episodes of examining the self-image, subconscious programming, belief systems, self-sabotage, identity gaps, and the performance paradox, the question is no longer whether change is possible.

The question is whether you are willing to pursue it with the structure transformation actually requires.

In this episode, Rich brings Season 1 to a powerful close by helping you define who you are becoming and what it will take to become that version of yourself in reality, not just in theory.

You will see why understanding the problem is not the same as transformation, why knowledge alone does not change identity, and why the gap between information and implementation is where most personal development fails.

Rich introduces The Next Version Framework, a practical process for defining your future self with precision, identifying the identity gaps that are still holding you back, and building the bridge between your current identity and your next-version identity.

This episode also brings the full Season 1 journey together. The performance paradox, the belief audit, neuroplasticity, the self-image mechanism, the hustle trap, self-sabotage, and identity reconstruction all point to one truth:

You do not transform by consuming more information.

You transform by becoming someone new.

If you know you are performing below your actual potential, this episode will challenge you to stop waiting for the perfect time, stop negotiating with the old identity, and begin building the structure required for real change.

Your next version does not wait.

Hello and welcome to the Restart Your Life podcast. I'm your host, Rich Fournier. You know, if you've ever felt like you're capable of more than the life that you're currently living, you know you're not alone. See, your life can change faster than you think it can. When you fully understand how your mind actually works, see, most people aren't stuck because of a lack of information. They're stuck because of the patterns and the unconscious beliefs that are running below the surface. On this podcast, we're gonna break down the science of human performance so that you can rewire old patterns, eliminate the beliefs that are holding you back, and you can start creating the results you know that you're capable of. So let's dive in. This is the final episode of season one, and I want to use it differently from the others. No new framework today, no new teaching model. Today I want to speak to where you are right now. After 11 episodes of looking at yourself more honestly than most people ever do, because if you have listened through, genuinely engaged with this material, done the work between the episodes, run the audits, and sat with the questions, you are not the same person who pressed play on episode one. Something has shifted, even if you cannot fully articulate what. And today I want to help you see who you are becoming and give you the cleanest possible picture of the path forward. Welcome back for the last time this season to restart your life. At the start of the season, we define the problem as the performance paradox. You know what to do, you're just not doing it consistently. The gap between what you're capable of and what you are producing is real, measurable, and probably frustrating. And the reason, as we have explored across 11 episodes, it's not your strategy, it's not your work ethic, it's not your intelligence. It's the identity that's running the entire operation. The self-image that was formed before you had any say in the matter, the subconscious programming that has been quietly running your results, your decisions, your patterns on autopilot. That's the problem. And now you understand it at a level most people never reach. You understand the self-image mechanism, you understand neuroplasticity, you understand the belief audit, you understand the self-sabotage cycle, you probably understand the hustle trap now, and you understand how to read your results as identity data. You have the map. What remains now is the actual journey. Here is the last reframe of season one. Understanding the problem is not the transformation, it's the beginning of transformation. See, knowledge without implementation is fascinating, but it's not freeing. You can understand the neuroscience of the self-image completely, precisely, and academically, and yet still be running by your old programming tomorrow morning. See, information changes what you think, transformation changes who you are. And the gap between those two things is where most personal development fails. The work is not reading about neuroplasticity, the work is consistently activating new neural pathways over a sustained time period. The work is not understanding the believe audit framework. The work is doing it completely, honestly, with the guidance to see what your own blind spots prevent you from seeing. The work is not knowing that the self-sabotage cycle actually exists. The work is interrupting it when it activates in real time, in the actual moments of decision, with that new identity consistent response. This is where structure becomes non-negotiable. Now, I want to give you one final framework to close out the season. It's the next version framework, a way of defining with precision who you are becoming and making that future self a present operational reality. So, step one is you're going to construct the new version identity. And so I want you to answer these questions with specificity. How does your next version see themselves? What do they believe without effort automatically about their capability, their worthiness, their right to operate at the level they're operating at? How does your next version make decisions? What is the standard they apply to making those decisions? What do they say yes to that current version that that current version would avoid? What do they decline that the current version of themselves accepts? How does your next version respond to setbacks, to rejection, to temporary failure? What's their relationship with difficulty? How does your next version feel on an ordinary Tuesday about who they are and what they're building? Write this with as much specificity as you can generate. The next version is not a vague idea. They are a person with specific beliefs, specific responses, specific standards, specific ways of moving through the world. See, the thing that you're going after, the version of yourself that you want to become to hit the goals that you want to achieve, they have very specific way, specific ways of operating. And that's what we're trying to determine. Step two is I want you to identify the identity gaps that you currently have from where you are today to where you want to go. And you're gonna compare your description of the next version to your honest assessment of your current version of who you are today. Now, it's in the five domains: your self-worth, your capability, your deserving permission, your resilience identity. Where is the greatest distance between where you are today and where you want to go? These are your priority and your primary transformation focus points. The specific identity elements that, when changed, will have the most disproportionate positive impact on your results. Do the work. Step three, you got to build a bridge. The bridge between your current identity and the next version identity is built through three things. Number one, structured repetition of the new identity, which means daily engagement with the next version belief system. It's not casual, it's not occasional, it's structured, deliberate, and consistent, determined. Number two, identity consistent action. Taking the action your next version self takes every single day. Even when they're uncomfortable, even when they feel unfamiliar, and collecting the evidence those actions generate. Number three, your environment design. You got to surround yourself with the people, inputs, and the environments that reflect and reinforce your next version identity. Listen, if you're trying to stop drinking as an example, you're not hanging out with your friends at the pub, right? It's not the environment for you. Right? You can't be an environment that triggers and reinforces the old version of yourself. See, this bridge is not built in a weekend. It is built over six months of consistent, structured, supported work. And at the end of that bridge is someone who's not trying to become the next version. They become their next version. Let me be very direct with you today. You have spent 11 episodes building the understanding. You have spent time listening to these episodes, building an understanding. You now actually have a framework for why you have produced the results that you have produced in your life. You have a framework for what needs to change. You have a framework for how that change happens. See, the question is not whether the transformation is possible. We have established neurologically, methodology, the methods, and empirically that it is real. The question is whether you will pursue it with the structure it requires. The question is whether you're going to do the work. And here's what I know from working with high performers in the transformation process. People who attempt to do this work alone, without structure, without accountability, without a guided methodology, without expert, without an expert who challenges your blind spots, they only make partial progress. They may improve for a bit, but they don't transform. People who do this work inside a structured, supported process with a proven methodology, with consistent coaching, with reinforcement around the environment that you need to create, with the accountability of commitment, they produce results that are qualitatively different from anything they've ever produced before. Not incremental improvement. That's not what we're aiming for. We're looking to create a different category of results. The Path of Transformation is a six-month program designed for entrepreneurs and high performers who are ready to perform at the highest of levels, who literally want to transform their life. It's structured around everything we've covered in this season. You get a complete belief audit and diagnostic, cognitive deconstruction of what's currently limiting you in your life, precision next aversion, identity construction. You got to create the person that you want to be, but you got to be very specific. Neurologically grounded installation strategies, weekly coaching to challenge the blind spots that you can't even see, environmental support. See, it's not a course you consume, it's a process that changes you. We've had many clients that have gone through it already, and their results, their income, their consistency, the quality of their business and personal experience has been outstanding. If you are someone who knows with genuine honesty that you're performing at 40 to 60 percent of your actual potential and you're done accepting that, I want to have a conversation with you. It's not a sales call, it's a real diagnostic conversation of what you want to create in your life. We're gonna look at your current identity, your current results, the gaps that you're experiencing, and I will tell you honestly whether the path to transformation is the right vehicle for where you're trying to go. So today I want you to book that conversation at restartyourlife.com. Now, like now, today. Not when the timing's better, because it's never going to be better, because the timing that you're currently experiencing today is a residual of your past belief systems. So go book that appointment today. Definitely not the end of the quarter, not after the next launch or whatever you're doing. The old identity will always find a reason to wait. Go book this appointment with me. Your next version doesn't want to wait. Thank you for listening to 12 episodes of season one of Restart Your Life. The movement is just beginning, and I can't wait to see you in season two.
